Oasis Hostel in Old Havana. Located in one of the oldest streets in the city, built at the time of its foundation (early 16th century). Absolutely strategic location if you are looking to get to know the old part of Havana, its museums, tourist streets and squares, bars and tapas bars, restaurants, classic parks, attractive alleys and what we call here “la cubanía” (which is nothing more than the people's activities and way of life). Perfect for exploring Havana on foot (many points of interest will be close at hand without needing a taxi). We are very close to the port and the Ferry Terminal.
The house
An old building (it has its origins in the 17th and 18th centuries) that, due to the importance of its Spanish façade, was rebuilt in 2004 to maintain the urban and heritage complex. It currently houses 11 apartments, distributed over three floors.
The hostel
Located on the ground floor of the building, it has ramps to facilitate access for the elderly and people with disabilities. Crossing the threshold, through the old gate, you will find a large entrance hall with a quiet courtyard at the back (around which the apartments and the life of the building are distributed).
Rooms
Three rooms, all with private bathroom. They are equipped with the basic necessities (such as A/C, fan, hot and cold water, iron, safe (room 1) and mini bar (room 1).
Breakfast
We offer a good breakfast. Delicious, varied, complete and healthy (as far as possible, we avoid industrial foods). We recommend that you book it together with the accommodation (this way you will give us time to have everything ready for your arrival).
Lunch and dinner
The hostel has an equipped kitchen at your disposal. You can use it whenever you need it. However, the truth is that on the street you will find so many options that not cooking will not be a problem since you can eat anything outside (there is a great variety of businesses with all kinds of prices). And, if you want to taste real Cuban cuisine... we can also cook for you an excellent Creole menu!
